COTA collects and holds personal information in relation to individual membership such as your date of birth and address. In addition we may hold information which you have provided relating to products or services you have participated in or purchased from us.
The COTA website has been developed to promote the services of COTA, further the interests of senior Australians through the Policy Unit and as an information resource for those interested in ageing issues.
Whilst every effort is made to keep this website up-to-date no guarantee is made regarding the currency and accuracy of the information contained.
COTA will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by or related to the use of information contained on this website.
Links to external websites are provided throughout for convenience and information; COTA takes no responsibility for the content of third party websites.
Refund & Shipping Policy
These policies apply to goods and services paid for through the website including, but not limited to, payment for membership, events and COTA publications.
A confirmation email will be sent once payment has been received; shipping of goods and tickets will be as follows:
- Unless otherwise stated shipping will be via Australia post
- Unless otherwise stated the price quoted is inclusive of shipping and handling
- Tickets and publications will be posted within 48 hours of receipt of payment
- Membership applications will be processed within 48 hours of payment, the new membership card should be received within approximately two weeks of payment
It is not standard practice to offer refunds for goods and services, except as required by the law; however, in mitigating circumstances this may be offered at the discretion of the management.
